Columbia, TN, is Mule Capitol of the World!
(In case y'all didn't know! lol)
The annual Mule Day Festival was held this past weekend, and we attended the parade, as well as some special events at the park. This was the 200th year to hold the festival, so it is a big tradition. Hope you enjoy a few pics (33 to be exact) that I took this week!

Hey Rebekah! Looks like you all had a good time at Mule Day. Your latest cakes look really good. What kind of icing is on the white one? It looks shiny! The Ten Commandments you posted was funny too, except for the less than flattering comment about the banjo. Ha! See you all soon, Valerie
I agree! Whoever wrote that about the banjo is treading on thin ground! It's not bluegrass without BANJO!
Sarah
Valerie...Thanks! I used the buttercream icing but after I put it on the cake, I used a piece of wax paper to smooth it out.
I knew y'all both wouldn't like the comment about the banjo! I do fear the fierceness of banjo pickers, especially since I happen to live with one! lol!
BTW, Sarah, how did you get you comment posted on my blog without me ever seeing it? (I'm starting to wonder if somebody knows my password!)
Thanks for backing me up, Sarah. Rebekah, you are wise to fear banjo players. hahaha See you all soon! Valerie
Mule Capitol of the World, huh? Well I guess there are worse things to be the capitol of....
