A trip to the Nathan Bedford Forrest Home

A couple of weeks ago, we got to visit the Nathan Bedford Forrest childhood home in Chapel Hill, TN. It was pretty neat! They didn't actually have a re-enactment, but they did have some demonstrations. Here's the firing of the cannons...

sometimes pictures don't turn out the way you planned...when you have sisters around, it's not unusual to have "bunny ears" or for a flag to have legs and feet!

which is why I'm thankful for picture editing programs! :-)
